This website is a chronicle of Vivian Lamb's 2018 Appalachian Trail adventure.
She started out on April 16 from near Waynesboro, VA to begin the journey.

This begins a lifelong goal to hike the Appalachian Trail after retiring as a teacher for 35 years.
This is called a Flip Flop Thru Hike (click here to read about ATC Flip Flop Thru Hikes). Vivian will start from near Waynesboro, VA and go to Mount Katahdin, ME.
Then after two weeks off the trail for a family reunion in Nova Scotia, she will hike from Waynesboro to Springer Mountain, GA.
